From a small idea to simplify Sports Betting for Malaysians, 88ved has grown into one of the most trusted platforms in the region — with millions of bets processed every month and a member community that continues to expand from every corner of the country.
88ved was born from a simple observation — many Malaysians who enjoy following sports and casino games had no platform that truly understood their needs. Overseas platforms often displayed interfaces in foreign languages, accepted payment methods irrelevant to local users, and had no grasp of the fact that Malaysian football fans care far more about Liga Super Malaysia than obscure European leagues they have never heard of.
That's the gap 88ved was built to fill — a platform that is truly Malaysian inside and out. Not just in language, but in user experience, payment options, relevant sports markets, and customer service that understands the local context. From our first day of operations in 2018, 88ved has had one focus: delivering the best, safest, and most enjoyable experience for Malaysian members.
Over more than seven years in operation, 88ved has processed millions of bets from every corner of Malaysia — from Perlis to Sabah, from the Klang Valley to small towns across Sarawak. The 88ved member community spans all walks of life — some follow Liga Super Malaysia every week, some prefer Live Casino sessions late at night, some are loyal number lottery players, and a growing number of younger members got their start with esports betting on MPL and Dota 2. This diversity is 88ved's strength, and we continue to add new products to cater to every interest within our community.
The 88ved team comprises over a hundred professionals specialising in technology, cybersecurity, product development, customer support, and data analytics. Many of us are genuine sports and gaming enthusiasts who watch and play the same things our members do — and that keeps every product decision grounded and relevant. When we add new markets for the Malaysia Super League or upgrade the in-play betting system for MLBB matches, it's because the people building it are fans just like you.
On the technology front, 88ved has made significant investments in infrastructure to keep the platform stable even during peak traffic — such as during the Malaysia Super League final or The International Dota 2 broadcast. Hundreds of thousands of members can be on the platform simultaneously without disruption or odds delays. Our odds system updates in real time using live data from trusted international sports sources, ensuring every price you see is current and accurate.
On the payments side, 88ved was among the first in the industry to fully support Malaysia's e-wallet ecosystem. Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow — all available because we know that's how Malaysians transact today. You don't need a credit card or a trip to the ATM just to top up your account. Everything can be done from your smartphone in under five minutes. This isn't just about convenience — it's our way of respecting the time and habits of 88ved members.
88ved also believes that transparency is the foundation of trust. All promotion terms are written in clear, straightforward Bahasa Melayu. No hidden conditions to catch you off guard after claiming a bonus. No undisclosed withdrawal limits. All odds rates, margins, and betting conditions are easily accessible within our platform. This is 88ved's promise to every member — we never play games with your money.
